The tiny or the teacup pug is a little known breed of pugs. Many people do not accept that such a breed exists and that the teacup pug is merely a smaller version of a normal pug. The Facts
Basically a teacup pug isn’t actually a thoroughbred of pugs; instead they’re in fact half breeds. It’s common to see a pug crossed with a Chihuahua and the appearance can be slightly amazing. Fundamentally you would mistake one of those half breeds a just a smaller version of a pug. The sole semi obvious difference being the length of the snout is a little bit longer in a teacup pug then in a standard thoroughbred.
So is it safe to reproduce a pug with another dog such as a Chihuahua? The answer’s a little yes and a little no. The majority of these teacup pugs need C sections. One thing that could be beneficial for this type of pug is the proven fact that they’ve a barely longer snout which should cut back the chance possible breathing complications later on along the way. This is a standard failing in thoroughbred pugs.
Although there could be some benefits of cross breeding pugs, there are usually more complications concerned and it is not recommended that people should do so. There is a common term in dog society named ‘designer dogs’. These are dogs that are intentionally cross bred to create new unique breeds that nobody else will have. This is one of the worst things that folk could do. It isn’t safe to experiment in cross breeding dogs unless naturally you are a trained vet who is able to say what you do.

Fundamentally there isn’t any precise purebred of teacup pugs. Everyone knows that there are plenty of different sorts of cross breeds out there and you could be mistaken if you see a teacup pug because generally it’s probably simply a normal pug that’s a little smaller compared to usual. One of the things you could do is next time you come across a smaller compared to usual pug, ask the owner if it is in truth a teacup pug. If they say yes then ask them what it is a cross of? Most of the people will just tell you that it is thoroughbred but as you now know, there is no such thing as a thoroughbred teacup pug.
